Horizontal distribution transformer on load tap changer (Top-mounted)

This tap-changer is applicable to oil-immersed power transformers with AC 50Hz primary rated voltage of 10kV, rated through current up to 50A and rated capacity up to 630kVA.

The tap-changer is directly mounted on the transformer tank cover, which greatly reduces the internal space occupied by the tap-changer inside the transformer.

It shares the same oil compartment with the transformer. Adopting vacuum arc-extinguishing technology, the tap-changer causes no contamination to transformer oil. It eliminates the drawbacks of embedded tap-changers such as large overall size and the need for regular replacement of internal transformer oil after long-term operation. It features safe and reliable performance, zero pollution and maintenance-free operation.
