This tap-changer is designed for oil-immersed power transformers with an AC frequency of 50 Hz, primary rated voltage of 10 kV, rated through current up to 50 A and rated capacity no more than 630 kVA.
Mounted directly onto the transformer tank cover, this unit drastically cuts down the internal space occupied inside the transformer.
It shares the same oil compartment with the transformer. Equipped with vacuum arc-extinguishing technology, the tap-changer will not contaminate transformer oil. It addresses the drawbacks of conventional embedded tap-changers, such as bulky dimensions, separate independent oil chambers and mandatory oil replacement after long-term operation. It features outstanding safety, stable performance, zero oil contamination and maintenance-free operation.
Matched on-load voltage regulation controllers manufactured by our factory shall be adopted as the operating control unit for this tap-changer, supporting automatic, manual and wireless adjustment to deliver fully automated intelligent voltage regulation.
This product meets all technical requirements for State Grid bidding and has been incorporated into the standardized drawings of State Grid of China.
Both the main switching contacts and transition contacts of this tap-changer adopt a double-layer clip structure, which can withstand greater short-circuit current impact and fully satisfy the short-circuit withstand requirements of State Grid for distribution transformers.
Equipped with proprietary local manual operation technology, it enables tap position adjustment even when power supply is unavailable, greatly facilitating on-site operation, maintenance and fault troubleshooting.
Dual tap position indication (electrical + mechanical) is applied to eliminate inconsistency between the actual tap position of the switch and the position read by the controller caused by motor slipping, enhancing the overall safety and reliability of the tap-changer.
A fully sealed precision reduction gearbox paired with stepper motor technology prevents mechanism rusting and jamming resulting from water ingress or dampness, guaranteeing long-term stable operation of the equipment.
