The tap changer is designed to operate on triple-phase oil-insulated transformers with an oil-insulated tank lid that is immediately fixed on and replaced in a de-energized state. The transformers have a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz, a maximum voltage of 10KV or 24KV, and a rated through-current of 30A or 63A.
